Entity and activity description

As part of IDD and GM&T, Air Liquide Maritime is organized along four business units, namely Offshore Energy, Cryogenic Supply, Global Rare Gases and Global Helium. Helium offers many growth opportunities in diverse markets such as MRI, electronics, spec gases, diving, airbags, fiber optics and the space industry. Its current total market value is estimated to be about 3 bn USD. Air Liquide Global Helium (ALGH) is a global organization responsible for Helium from sourcing, to worldwide maritime transport and supply to all Air Liquide Helium transfills in the world.
Missions and Responsibilities

The Public Relations & Administration Officer is responsible for a variety of public relations support and for ensuring that all documentary requirements and procedures are carried within the required timeframe. Besides that, he/she will also be involved in the Office Management for our Jebel Ali site and in other administrative processes such as invoicing, POs, travel arrangements,... for the different departments. Immigration:
  • Provide expert advice to business and employees on all visa formalities and all other government related procedures.
  • All services related to immigration of expatriate employees and their dependents
  • Obtain new employment visas / work permits as well as residence permits
  • Accountable in maintaining accurate records for all above services.
Business Processes:
  • Submissions or processing of documents to JAFZA authorities like Trakhees, Civil Defense, Tax Authority, Dubai Chamber of Commerce etc (if needed)
  • Permits and gate passes applications
  • Shipping documents attestation/legalizations and translation with MOF or consulates
  • Keep up to date on government rules and regulations/ information / documents and at times certain jobs must be tackled efficiently without much notice.
  • Customs clearance which includes inspection, preparation and submission of documents.
Office Management & General administration:
  • Assist the operational teams with creation of PO’s and administration of invoices
  • Assist the employees with bookings of overseas trips
  • Handling and monitoring expenses related to administration such as pantry, stationery supplies, etisalat and Dewa

Competencies and Profile
  • Knowledge of government laws and regulations.
  • High level of accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Minimum of 3 years experience working with UAE Immigration authorities
  • Must have a valid UAE driving license
  • Can work in an autonomous way and is highly organized
  • Fluent in English, Arabic is a plus
