Koch Engineered Solutions (KES) is looking for a Global Director of our Systems Technology Teams. As the team leader you will focus to lead and develop our global System process engineering teams and processes. Systems include our Flare, Thermal Oxidizer and Vapor Recovery/Combustor products.
The Systems Technology team plays a key role in many different phases of a project ranging from supporting our commercial teams over order execution to assistance of aftermarket service teams.
We are serving the international refining petrochemical, midstream, downstream and pharmaceutical markets.
Our Team
This team specializes in highly technical product and systems assessments that include our- Flare, Thermal Oxidizer, and Vapor Recovery/Combustor Products ranges. We currently support our customers by serving in diverse markets, including international refining, petrochemical, midstream, downstream, and pharmaceutical industries.
What You Will Do
Ensure that we have the right global team capability and knowledge as needed to support the technical aspects for our customers * Encourage cross-functional teamwork and empower individuals to proactively share knowledge across the global organization
Instill economic thinking within the teams that capitalize on the greatest value for ourselves and our customers
Provide strategic direction to the regional System Team Managers (Americas & EMEAI) as well as strategic guidance to the Head of Technologies (Flares, TOs, Vapor Recovery). Head of Technology will own Training and technical risk assessments of their specific product lines and provide technical guidance to support R&D efforts
Ensure harmonized global processes such as transfer of information within the organization and towards our customers, documentation of knowledge, training etc.
Coordinate and facilitate interaction and mutually beneficial outcomes with the Global Product Owners on technical/commercial strategies to align the technology team
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering * Experience in developing and facilitating technical processes that align to delivering products specific to customer needs
Experience overseeing and assisting in developing product design
Experience documenting detailed processes of technical products that support various cross functional teams such as commercial and project execution
Experience working to lead and facilitate learning and sharing of knowledge across teams of technical individuals
Experience working with or in an environment that supports or directly manufactures engineered to order equipment
Experience in leading across multicultural teams
Able to fluently communicate in English in all forms necessary to include written and verbal
Ability to travel globally 30%

Experience working with combustion equipment
Experience using various technologies and platforms to capture documentation and facilitation of product development
