KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Integration Execution & Business Continuity
  • Implement and manage a standardised PMI framework for logistics acquisitions.
  • Oversee the operational execution of integration plans, ensuring business continuity and alignment with global strategies.
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring smooth transition and issue resolution.
  • Coordinate integration milestones, workstreams, and deliverables, ensuring timely execution.
2. Cross-Functional & Regional Coordination
  • Work closely with Finance, IT, HR, Operations, Commercial, and Legal teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Support regional business units by adapting integration strategies to local market requirements.
  • Oversee the implementation of employee transition plans, organisational structures, and process integrations.
3. Synergy Tracking & Business Alignment
  • Monitor and track integration synergies, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to validate and report on post-merger financial performance.
  • Ensure alignment of acquired businesses with DP World's logistics operating model and technology stack.
4. Change Management & Culture Integration
  • Work with HR and Communications teams to drive cultural alignment and employee engagement.
  • Support integration-related change management initiatives at both global and regional levels.
5. Governance & Performance Monitoring
  • Maintain integration tracking tools, dashboards, and reports to provide visibility to senior leadership.
  • Establish and enforce integration governance standards, ensuring accountability at all levels.
  • Conduct post-integration reviews to capture best practices and refine future PMI processes.
6. PMI Tools, Playbooks & Governance
  • Manage and continuously improve the global PMI playbook, tools, and templates.
  • Leverage technology platforms and tools for integration tracking, risk mitigation, and reporting.
  • Ensure alignment with PMO on methodology, project governance, and execution best practices.
7. People Management & Team Development
  • Lead and mentor integration project teams and workstream leads.
  • Support scalable resourcing models and onboarding for future acquisitions.
  • Act as an ambassador for DP World at all times when working; promoting and demonstrating positive behaviours in harmony with DP World's Principles, values and culture; ensuring the highest level of safety is applied in all activities; understanding and following DP World's Code of Conduct and Ethics policies
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
JOB CONTEXT:
The Director of post-merger Integration (Logistics) operates in a fast-paced, global environment, managing multiple integration projects across different regions and business units. The logistics industry is highly dynamic, requiring flexibility in integration strategies based on deal structures, market conditions, and regulatory environments.
Given DP World's growth strategy through acquisitions, this role is critical in ensuring seamless transitions and value realisation. The VP will work across multiple functions, balancing strategic oversight with hands-on execution when necessary. The role also requires close collaboration with the Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure consistency in project execution, governance, and performance tracking.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
  • Post-graduate qualifications in Change Management, Organizational Development, or PMI certifications are a plus.
Experience
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, or integration management, within the logistics, supply chain, or related sectors.
  • Proven track record in leading and managing post-merger integration communication strategies for global organisations.
  • Demonstrated experience in aligning internal communications during significant organisational transitions, including M&A, restructurings, or cross-border projects.
  • Familiarity with managing cultural integration processes across diverse regions, business functions, and employee groups.
  • Experience with M&A due diligence processes, integration planning, and post-integration execution.
  • Experience in collaborating with senior leadership teams to ensure seamless communication throughout integration stages.

  • Leadership: Ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, providing guidance and expertise to ensure a unified approach to integration communications.
  • Adaptability & Resilience: Comfortable navigating complex and ambiguous environments, with the ability to pivot and adjust strategies as needed.
