To accurately measure, cut, and install glass (tempered, laminated, double-glazed, decorative, structural) across various applications--including partitions, shower enclosures, doors, windows, balustrades, and facades--while ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications for glass requirements. Indeed
Measure, fabricate, and cut assorted types of glass to required dimensions.
Install glass for shower rooms, mirrors, office partitions, doors, windows, railings, storefronts, and decorative features. Dayagri
Remove and replace damaged or broken glass safely.
Apply sealants, caulking, and weatherproof materials to ensure the integrity of joints.
Use suction cups, glass lifters, and hand or power tools accurately and safely.
Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized workspace on-site and in workshops.
Ensure all installations comply with safety regulations, building codes, and SOPs.
Coordinate with team members and supervisors to complete projects within deadlines and quality standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in glasswork is a plus.
Minimum
2-5 years of experience
in glass installation and fitting, preferably within a UAE or GCC setting.
Proficiency with hand and power tools used in glass cutting and installation.
Ability to read drawings and project specifications accurately.
Physically fit with good stamina--capable of lifting heavy glass, working at height, and bending/kneeling.
Strong eye-hand coordination, attention to detail, and craftsmanship.
Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
