Job Title: GKE-Anthos Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Doha, Qatar

Primary Skills:

Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) - On-Prem and Cloud

Anthos - Hybrid and Multi-Cloud Deployment

Apigee Hybrid - API Management

Secondary Skills:

ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)

CI/CD Tools - Jenkins, GitHub Actions

Artifact & Code Quality Tools - Nexus, SonarQube

GitHub - Source Control and Collaboration

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage and execute upgrades of GKE On-Prem and GKE on Cloud clusters.

2. Architect and deploy Anthos across on-premises, Google Cloud, and other public cloud environments.

3. Design and manage GKE clusters and workloads across hybrid environments.

4. Configure and maintain Anthos Service Mesh, Config Management, and Migrate.

5. Ensure security, compliance, and governance across Anthos-managed environments.

6. Automate infrastructure provisioning and cluster operations using CI/CD pipelines.

7. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Anthos, GKE, and integrated components.

8. Optimize performance and reliability of hybrid cloud infrastructure.

9. Collaborate with DevOps and application teams to modernize legacy applications using containers and microservices.

10. Maintain detailed documentation for upgrades, configurations, and operational procedures.

11. Conduct workshops and training sessions for internal teams and clients.

12. Provide technical leadership and guidance on Anthos best practices.

Expectations:

3-5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes.

Hands-on experience in upgrading and maintaining Anthos and GKE (Cloud & On-Prem).

Strong troubleshooting skills across hybrid environments.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

Experience integrating Nexus, SonarQube, Jenkins, and GitHub into CI/CD workflows.

Certifications (Preferred):

Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect or Kubernetes Engineer

Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)

Anthos or Apigee-related certifications (if available)
