We are seeking a skilled GIS Land Surveyor to support our land development and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting field surveys, collecting geospatial data, and integrating it into Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for analysis and mapping. This role bridges traditional surveying with modern geospatial technologies to ensure accurate, data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct field surveys using GPS, total stations, and other surveying instruments.
Collect, analyze, and interpret geospatial data for land development and infrastructure planning.
Create and update digital maps using GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS).
Ensure accuracy of survey data and resolve discrepancies in field measurements.
Collaborate with engineers, planners, and GIS analysts to support project requirements.
Maintain organized records of survey data, maps, and reports.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and quality protocols.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, Surveying, GIS, or a related field.
Proven experience in land surveying and GIS data integration.
Proficiency in GIS software and surveying tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Valid UAE driving license (preferred for field mobility).
Preferred Skills:
Experience with LiDAR, remote sensing, and drone-based data collection.
Familiarity with CAD software and digital terrain modeling.
Knowledge of local land regulations and cadastral systems.
