At Jacobs, we're transforming intangible ideas into innovative solutions designing the future - today. We are seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to be based in the United Arab Emirates. You will provide technical leadership, mentoring and support to the geotechnical team. You will have a robust market profile and will use this along with your existing network and experience to enhance and grow relationships with a broad range of Jacobs clients. You will be a competent operational and project manager who takes responsibility of his staff, their development and the effective delivery of the sections projects. You will drive collaborative working across regions and capitalize on opportunities including the promotion of knowledge and work sharing whilst delivering technical excellence through technical mentorship and excellent client management. Here's What You'll Need: Experience working in a team environment Sound experience in various areas of geotechnical investigation, analysis and design. Experience should include slope risk assessment, landslide analysis, site formation, retaining walls and foundation engineering and associated infrastructure projects At least 15 years geotechnical consulting experience Full member of MHKIE including CEng and RGE status Sound understanding of relevant geotechnical standards and guidelines (local and international) and design software within areas of expertise Proven experience of leading and / working in a D & C environments would be advantageous Sound interpersonal and technical management skills, demonstrated ability to lead a group of geotechnical engineers in delivering solutions Positive track record in client management and development in consulting. Ability to build & maintain strong client & team relationships Experience in planning and execution to achieve business goals Jacobs. A world where you can.
