Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced

Geotechnical Design Engineer

to join a dynamic geotechnical design team working on a wide range of civil, infrastructure, and coastal engineering projects. The role involves providing technical expertise in foundation design, earthworks and subsurface analysis, while contributing to the continuous development of advanced geotechnical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform geotechnical and coastal engineering design for infrastructure projects, including foundations, earthworks and slope stability Carry out site investigations to assess subsurface conditions, including soil, rock and groundwater characteristics Analyze geotechnical data and evaluate the stability of natural slopes and man-made soil structures Develop design solutions for foundations, embankments, retaining structures and ground improvement systems Prepare detailed design calculations, technical reports and engineering documentation Research, evaluate, and assess geo-synthetic and composite materials from international manufacturers Develop and enhance geo-synthetic and composite systems by identifying new materials, specifications, and potential applications Support the improvement of technical capabilities within the team and align engineering solutions with business objectives Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Master's or PhD in Geotechnical Engineering is a plus) 5 to 15 years of experience in geotechnical and coastal engineering design Proficiency in geotechnical design software such as

PLAXIS, GeoStudio, SLOPE/W, Settle3D

, or similar tools Strong understanding of soil mechanics, foundation engineering, and material behavior Proven experience in producing professional design calculations and technical reports Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within diverse project teams
