Our client is seeking a qualified

Geophysicist

to support geotechnical and environmental investigation projects through advanced near-surface geophysical surveys and data interpretation.

Key Responsibilities

Design and plan near-surface geophysical surveys including GPR, ERT, seismic refraction/reflection, MASW, magnetics, and time-domain electromagnetics. Operate and maintain geophysical instruments to ensure accurate and high-quality field data collection. Manage, monitor, and perform QA/QC of geophysical data collected in-house or by third-party contractors. Process, analyze, and interpret complex geophysical datasets using specialized software to develop subsurface maps, profiles, and models. Prepare detailed technical reports, charts, and presentations to communicate findings, interpretations, and recommendations to clients and stakeholders. Provide technical input and support during planning, design, and construction phases of infrastructure projects. Ensure strict compliance with company safety policies, guidelines, and industry standards. Stay updated with advancements in geophysical methods, technologies, and best practices to improve investigation efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Geophysics or a related field (Master's Degree preferred). Proven experience in geotechnical or environmental consulting with a strong focus on near-surface geophysical investigations. Hands-on experience with geophysical survey techniques and interpretation software. Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of multidisciplinary project teams.
