Geography Igcse Teacher
Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher to deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons for students preparing for their IGCSE examinations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the IGCSE Geography syllabus and a commitment to fostering an enriching learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver Geography lessons aligned with the IGCSE curriculum.
Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and examinations.
Provide timely and constructive feedback to support student development.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
Develop and implement innovative teaching methods and resources.
Support students' academic and personal growth.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop departmental initiatives and curriculum improvements.
Stay updated with changes and developments in the Geography curriculum and examination requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Geography, Education, or related field.
Valid teaching certification or license.
Proven experience teaching Geography at the secondary or IGCSE level.
Strong knowledge of the IGCSE Geography syllabus and assessment criteria.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to motivate and inspire students.
Proficiency in using digital tools and resources for teaching.
