Job Description

As a General Manager, you will ensure a safe, smooth, and efficient operation in the Yas Water World in relation to the Company Core Process, thus directly impacting the planning of policy and strategy for the Company. This position oversees all aspects of property management in accordance with the company mission statement, including the maximization of financial performance, guest satisfaction, and staff development within established quality standards. It has an instrumental role in the implementation of key strategies to achieve the agreed-upon business goals. Increases management's effectiveness by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, and disciplining managers; communicating values, strategies, and objectives; assigning accountabilities; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; developing incentives; developing a climate-positive work culture for sharing information and opinions for constructive discussion; and providing educational opportunities. Provide input on the strategic direction of the leisure facility in support of the group and communicate throughout the business. Develop and control the administration of annual operational, capital expenditure, and long-term developmental budgets. Formulate efficient operating labor levels that support the overall organizational structure. Assist with the direction and implementation of marketing strategies as dynamically necessary. Drive a safe guest and colleague environment through industry best practices and proactive innovation. Drive incremental attendance in all sales channels by utilizing internal and shared resources. Delegate and empower the team with clearly defined responsibilities and authority. Make hiring decisions and promotional recommendations. Develop and coach the team for personnel development. Educated to a degree level or have equivalent experience.

20 years of experience in the theme park industry. 10+ years in a senior management role Has managed senior managers and business leaders. Strong Leadership, interpersonal skills, and cultural sensitivity Fluent in English communication skills Computer skills: ability to prepare basic reports in Excel and presentations in PowerPoint Strong background in safety awareness Knowledgeable of rides and attractions in waterparks Strong level of maturity, confidence, and exceptional collaboration skills and customer service skills Strong knowledge of finances and marketing and the ability to build good relationships with peers and direct reports.
