Job Title - General Manager - UAE Location - Dubai / Abu Dhabi Mission Help Rain Group grow by executing on it\'s strategic objective of launching operational trading entities in the United Arab Emirates (both onshore and freezone) that enhance our core offering in the region to both retail and institutional clients. The GM will be responsible for managing the entities post launch. Main Accountabilities
Skills & Experience
- Complete launch process for Rain in the UAE with ADGM. Responsible for
- Supporting the legal and policy teams in the application process
- Coordinating all requirements that arise from the licensing application with internal teams such as tech, operations and compliance.
- Lead cross functional efforts to get the entity ready for launch
- Launch and manage entity post licensing
- Staffing and recruitment of key roles
- Leading efforts with compliance and policy with regulatory bodies in the UAE
- Defining market strategy and executing on it
- Responsible for setting business targets with leadership and tracking performance of those targets periodically
- Coordinating with Group VPs and aligning with their functional priorities for the UAE
- Working effectively with the BD team to convert leads into active accounts in the UAE
- Lead efforts with Banking team to secure more than one active bank account to finance operations of the UAE entity
Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in management in banking, Fintech, or high growth technology companies
- Ability to organize and track overlapping tasks and assignments, with frequent priority changes.
- Execute multiple projects in parallel with limited supervision
- Experience in leading teams in a large cross functional organization
- Experience with working with regulators in the region
- Strong business skills and business strategy experience
