Position Overview
Al-Futtaim Malls is seeking a highly experienced General Manager to lead operations at Dubai Festival Plaza. This role will oversee the complete management of the shopping center, including financial performance, marketing, operations, tenant relations, and community engagement. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all day-to-day mall operations including facilities, leasing, tenant management, and guest services.
• Prepare and manage operational and capital budgets, ensuring alignment with business targets.
• Monitor P&L statements, operating expenses, and revenue performance, taking corrective action as needed.
• Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies to increase footfall and tenant sales.
• Build strong relationships with tenants, government agencies, and community stakeholders.
• Lead leasing and asset management functions to maximize occupancy and rental income.
• Ensure compliance with all legal, safety, and operational standards.
• Oversee property maintenance, service charge budgets, and vendor contracts to optimize operational efficiency.
• Mentor and develop department heads and team members to achieve performance excellence.
• Conduct periodic performance reviews, set measurable objectives, and identify training opportunities.
• Compile and present management reports to senior leadership, highlighting performance metrics and improvement plans.

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or Marketing (MBA preferred).
• 10-15 years of experience in retail property or mall management, including 5-7 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record in financial management, leasing, and operations for large-scale shopping centers.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
• Deep understanding of retail trends, marketing strategies, and community engagement in the GCC region.
