Job Title: Restaurant General Manager

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Package: Up to 35,000 AED per month, plus benefits.

I am currently supporting a leading investment management company whodevelop, own, andoperate successful F&B, hospitality & entertainment concepts across the Middle East, USA, Asia andEurope.

The group are now looking to launch a new high end French fine dining concept in Dubai, UAE and are now seeking a General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations. We are looking for young, dynamic general managers -someone with a great personality, with high energy & a sense of humour.

The restaurant is targetting a September 2023 launch, and ideally we\'re looking for those with prior pre-opening experience alongside demonstrated experience working within the GCC capacity.

Respsonibilities:
  • Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations.
  • Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints.
  • Regularly review product quality and research new vendors.
  • Organize and supervise shifts.
  • Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity.
  • Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products.
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
  • Manage restaurant\xe2\x80\x99s good image and suggest ways to improve it.
  • Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste.
  • Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses.
  • Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events.
  • Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices.
  • Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations.
Requirements:
  • Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager,or a similar role.
  • Prior experience with pre-opening concepts, alongside previous experience working within the GCC region.
  • Proven customer service experience as a manager.
  • Familiarity with restaurant management software, like OpenTable and PeachWorks.
  • Strong leadership, motivational and people skills.
  • Acute financial management skills.
  • BSc degree in Business Administration; hospitality management or culinary schooling is a plus.
