Job Summary

Responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, systems, and facilities to ensure they are in good working condition. Includes electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general facility upkeep tasks.

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs.

2. Carry out repairs on electrical systems, plumbing fixtures, HVAC units, and basic carpentry.

3. Replace light bulbs, filters, and other routine consumables.

4. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of maintenance workshop and equipment storage areas.

5. Monitor and report the need for major repairs.

6. Assist in the installation and setup of new machinery, equipment, and furniture.

7. Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly.

8. Maintain maintenance logs and documentation of repairs and replacements.

9. Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

10. Support other departments with basic facility-related tasks when required.

11. Performs other duties assigned.

Qualification, Experience & Knowledge

High school diploma or technical certification in a relevant field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in general maintenance or a related role.

Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.

Basic knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials used in general maintenance.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

Strong problem-solving and time management skills.

Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks, including lifting heavy items.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays if needed.

Experience in hospitality or commercial property maintenance.
