Robert Walters is working with a multinational looking to hire a hands-on General Ledger Accountant into their growing team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Responsibilities:
Robert Walters is working with a multinational looking to hire a hands-on General Ledger Accountant into their growing team in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
- Involved in preparing financial reports and reconciling balance sheets
- Maintaining the general ledger and assist with investigating audit findings and any other issues of non compliance
- Preparing and monitoring budgets
- Involved in ad-hoc projects while coordinating with other departments to resolve any issues/queries
- Ensuring compliance of internal controls
- Must have a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in finance/accounting along with relevant qualifications (ACCA, CA, CPA or equivalent)
- Must have up to 10 years of accounting experience in a multinational or complex environment
- Must have working knowledge of GAAP, IFRS and tax laws
- Must have strong financial analysis skills
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi
