The

General Helper

assists in the daily operations and maintenance activities at the gas plant or distribution facility. The role involves supporting technicians and operators, maintaining cleanliness and safety in the work area, and ensuring smooth workflow in accordance with company safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist technicians and operators in daily gas plant operations and maintenance tasks. Load, unload, and move gas cylinders, equipment, and materials safely. Clean and maintain the work area, tools, and machinery. Support in filling, labeling, and handling of gas cylinders as per standard operating procedures. Ensure compliance with all

health, safety, and environmental (HSE)

guidelines. Report any safety hazards, leaks, or equipment issues immediately to the supervisor. Assist in minor repair or maintenance work as instructed. Follow instructions from supervisors and work collaboratively with the team. Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Perform other general labor tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

High school education or equivalent. Prior experience as a helper or laborer in an industrial or gas company preferred. Basic understanding of workplace safety practices. Physically fit and able to lift heavy items safely. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team. Responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious attitude.
