An exciting opportunity has opened up for a General Foreman to work with a leading tier 1 contractor in Bahrain on a large critical government facility. Key duties: \xe2\x80\x93 Follow the schedule of work based on the given instructions and priorities from the Engineers on site. \xe2\x80\x93 Control of manpower and observation of the productivity of all the trades on site \xe2\x80\x93 Report to Site Engineers for the productivity and technical problems on site \xe2\x80\x93 Maintain the safety measures and reports/rectifies any violation on site \xe2\x80\x93 Control and coordinate materials and tools on site. \xe2\x80\x93 Ensure that all trades on site are familiar with the given tasks and arranges the number of people according to the site requirements and priorities \xe2\x80\x93 Follow the Method of Statement for shuttering and de-shuttering works \xe2\x80\x93 Following the Safety instructions and enforces the safety team for fulfilling promptly and proactively measures on site \xe2\x80\x93 Reports to Engineers and safety officers for any malfunctions of tools and equipment \xe2\x80\x93 Obtain the weekly look ahead program from the engineer and make the site plan in terms of materials, resources and subcontractors in a timely manner Criteria: \xe2\x80\x93 7 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a similar role including Middle East experience and ideally Bahrain experience.
