Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced General Commercial Lawyer with a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) for one of our prestigious clients in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general commercial contracts and a solid understanding of UAE law. While the jurisdiction of legal qualification is flexible, preference will be given to candidates with law firm experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts.
- Advise on compliance with UAE laws and regulations relevant to commercial operations.
- Provide strategic legal guidance on business transactions and corporate matters.
- Support internal departments with legal risk assessment and contract management.
- Liaise with external counsel where necessary.
- Minimum 5 years PQE in commercial law.
- Strong experience in handling general commercial contracts.
- Proven understanding of UAE legal framework.
- Law firm experience preferred.
- Excellent communication, drafting, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Bilingual (Arabic and English) is a plus.
- Regional Middle East experience is advantageous.
