General Accountant
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized General Accountant to manage our financial records, prepare financial statements, ensure compliance with statutory regulations, and support our financial team in day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles and proficiency with accounting software.
Key Responsibilities:
Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in the accounting system.
Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and reconciliations.
Manage accounts payable and receivable.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
Ensure compliance with local tax laws and statutory requirements.
Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
Monitor and reconcile bank statements.
Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.
Assist with budgeting and financial analysis as needed.
Collaborate with other departments to support financial operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Knowledge of accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
