General Accountant (Immediate Hiring)
Location: Dubai Internet City, Dubai, UAE
Experience: Minimum 4-5 years
Salary Range: AED 6,000 - AED 7,000 per month
Availability: Immediate joiners will be given preference
About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced General Accountant to join our team in Dubai Internet City. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting principles, hands-on experience with financial reporting, and the ability to manage day-to-day accounting operations efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and post monthly journal entries and ensure accurate month-end and year-end closing.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in compliance with local regulations.
• Handle VAT calculations, submissions, and ensure timely filing with UAE tax authorities.
• Monitor and reconcile intercompany transactions, if applicable.
• Support budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
• Assist with internal and external audit requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 4-5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within the UAE/GCC region.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, ERP systems) and MS Excel.
• Strong understanding of UAE VAT regulations and general accounting standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills in English (additional languages a plus).
• Immediate availability is highly preferred.
