GEM CEEMEA - UAE Flow Trader

Overview The Global Emerging Markets business covers a comprehensive EM product suite of FX, Rates and Credit from vanilla to complex products. It provides access to onshore & offshore markets via direct or electronic channels, as well as synthetic formats. In addition, it also provides financing solutions spanning capital markets, loans and asset-backed financing, from investment grade to distressed. The client base coverage spans the entire spectrum including sovereigns, quasi-sovereigns as well as global / local institutional and corporate clients. Key Responsibilities As a GEM Trader you will be responsible for: 1. Managing product flows along with pricing and risk management / portfolio optimization. 2. Providing liquidity to Deutsche Bank Clients who range from financial institutions to corporates. 3. Being aware and monitoring all rate volatility markets and identifying opportunities between different markets plus ability to develop hedging strategies. 4. Strong risk management skills 5. Responsible for execution, trade capture and PNL signoff for the trading books. 6. Continuous exploration of overall platform enhancements - Work closely with relevant teams to streamline, automate the pricing / risk management (where applicable) and also work on workflows solutions for the clients 7. Sales engagement \xe2\x80\x93 Work closely with sales to grow the franchise across corporate and financial institutions 8. Liaise with various internal control functions (Legal, Compliance, Credit and Business Management) to manage the trade through its life cycle Candidate requirements To be successful in this role you will have: 1. 1-4 years experience in Flow trading and market making business. Strong quantitative skills (preferably in econometrics) and product knowledge. 2. Desirable to have an understanding of CEEMEA Local Markets including an understanding of onshore and offshore dynamics across FX and Rates 3. Understanding of regulations across various countries will be desirable 4. Fluency in English (spoken and written) 5. An understanding and proficiency managing risk in trading books - interest rate risk, sofr and cross currency (xccy) basis risk. 6. A deep understanding of debt capital/bond / credit markets, credit environment and comfortable pricing a variety of instruments, including interest swaps, cross-currency swaps, Forward Rate Agreements (FRAs). 7. Very strong money management skills with Liquidity provider / Market maker profile. Driven to provide very competitive liquidity to client base. 8.
