Mix and prepare gelcoat materials per project specifications.
Ensure proper curing and perform touch-ups as needed.
Maintain and operate gelcoat application equipment.
Collaborate with production teams to meet design and quality standards.
Follow safety protocols for chemical handling and PPE use.
Maintain accurate records of materials used and time spent.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience in gelcoat finishing or fiberglass repair.
Proficiency in sanding, polishing, and buffing techniques.
Ability to color match and blend gelcoat for seamless repairs.
Familiarity with technical drawings and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and quality control.
Physical stamina for standing, bending, and working in confined spaces.
Knowledge of safety regulations and chemical handling best practices.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Exposure to fiberglass dust, fumes, and airborne particles.
Moderate lifting (up to 50 lbs), standing for 8+ hours.
Use of respirators, gloves, and chemical-resistant suits.
Work in non-climate-controlled environments and noisy conditions.
