Overview

+ ***This position will be physically located in Kuwait in support of LOGCAP

+ Under direct supervision of the Production Control Clerk, Lead, this position is responsible for the transfer, processing, and output of all required reports and data exchange. Issues commercial vehicles and government furnished equipment within Army Regulations. Responsible for dispatching of all vehicles within the area of support; compiles and maintain a maintenance status list of available government leased vehicles. Coordinates the servicing, repair, and maintenance scheduling of all Government leased vehicles and Government Furnished Equipment. Maintain records and reports of fuel, oil, and mileage usage.

Responsibilities

This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.

+ + Compiles and records production data from customer work orders (Non-Automated and Automated) forms, and work order continuation forms; follow prescribed recording procedures and using GCSS-Army interface.

+ Maintains files used and prepared in accordance with governing rules, regulations, and policies, to include archiving work orders using GCSS-Army system.

+ Ensures that the vehicle/equipment operator is properly licensed and has valid tasking.

+ Coordinates all dispatch operations for Government leased vehicles or Government provided equipment.

+ Utilizes Global Combat Support System Army (GCSS-A) or manual means to dispatch and coordinate vehicles; maintain proper use of the Equipment Utilization Record.

+ Calculate such factors as type and quantities of such items repaired, materials used, amount of scrap, frequency of defects, and work order and or department production rates, using GCSS-Army computers.

+ Prepares production reports based on data compiled, tabulated and computed, following prescribed formats and governing rules, regulations and policies.

+ Ensures that all required documents are closed out when vehicles or equipment is turned in (make sure customer follows turn in procedures).

+ Compiles, records, and reports on production data for supported customers. Compares records and reports on volume of maintenance requests, consumption of materials, quality control, and other aspects of equipment maintenance, and performing any combination of the following duties.

+ Compiles customers and required individual reports of current and projected work order status.

+ Monitor's each work order (within assigned center) for status changes. Informs Supervisors and Leads of any delays or unusual circumstances of work order requests.

+ Coordinate between departments or outside agencies via the telephone, email, fax, or in person, any required or instructed actions necessary to ensure the timely, economical and satisfactory completion of any or all work orders.

+ Assist within the department as directed by the Manager, Supervisor or Production Control Lead.

+ Maintain workstation and department area in a highly professional manner and appearance.

+ Ensures backups are maintained IAW GCSS-Army End User Manual and Standard Operating Procedures.

+ Generates maintenance management reports for designated personnel or copies them to file. Reviews error listing that may be generated from these reports and resolves issues.

+ Maintains current file of DA Form 1687 (Delegation of Authority) of supported units.

+ Prepares information papers and briefs senior level managers.

+ Perform other duties and assignments as required

Qualifications

+ + Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.

+ High School Diploma or equivalent.

+ A good working knowledge of production control systems, programs policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines. GCSS-A Certification desired. If do not have current certification, must successfully complete web base and class room training courses within 90 days of assuming the position

+ Analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data to establish the facts, and take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines.

+ Eligible for and be able to obtain a U.S. Government motor vehicle operator's permit for assigned class of vehicle.

+ Must be CAC eligible and/or able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)

+ Must be a U.S. Citizen

+ A valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a U. S. Government Motor Vehicle Operator's License and host nation Driver's License, is required.

+ Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination:

+ To be qualified for this position you must comply with USCENTCOM MOD 16 that requires proof that you are fully vaccinated for COVID-19, as defined by the CDC or host country requirements. As of now, to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 you must have received either two doses of Pfizer BioNTech Vaccine, two doses of AstraZeneca/Oxford Vaccine, two doses of Moderna Vaccine, or one dose of Johnson & Johnson Vaccine, and two weeks must have elapsed after the final dose was administered. This definition may change in accordance with CDC guidelines. Compliance with this government requirement is an essential function of the position and is a condition of employment.

+ Experience:

+ 2-4 years military or equivalent civilian training in the Army maintenance system is required. Must have completed all 14 web base training course on-line within 90 days of assuming the position and must be able to obtain GCSS-Army Certification. Must comply with OSHA, EPA, Fire regulations, Company Policies and work rules.

+ Skills:

+ Must have a good command of the English language in order to provide effective phone, desk-side and email support

+ Previous supervisory, team leading or management experience

+ Ability to work effectively and exercise sound business judgment in a team environment, as well as independently.

+ Demonstrate ability to deal with all employees and external customers while conveying a positive service oriented attitude.

+ Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.

+ Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.

+ Collaborative work style fostering cooperation and teamwork.

+ Handle confidential company and employee information with complete discretion.

+ Prioritize responsibilities to handle a demanding workload

+ Intermediate proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook applications.

+ High-level organizational and planning skills to efficiently and accurately manage workflow.

+ Ability to read, analyze, and interpret reports and documents

+ Working Conditions:

+ Must be capable of working in an extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit.

+ Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, dry, duty, desert environment with average temperatures of 30 degrees in the winter and 130 degrees in the summer months).

+ Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well.

+ Worker maybe required to spend extended amount of time in a computer room environment

+ Physical Requirements:

+ Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

+ Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents.

+ Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.

+ Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
