Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Gas Engineer to design, install, maintain, and ensure the safe operation of gas systems in compliance with Dubai Civil Defence (DCD) and UAE regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will oversee gas distribution networks, manage installation projects, and perform safety assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, plan, and supervise gas system installations for commercial, industrial, and residential projects. Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, and compliance checks according to DCD regulations. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in gas networks and equipment. Perform gas flow analysis, pressure testing, and load calculations. Liaise with contractors, consultants, and DCD officials for project approvals and certifications. Prepare technical reports, drawings, and documentation for project submissions. Develop preventive maintenance programs and oversee routine servicing. Ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent field. Valid

DCD (Dubai Civil Defence) approval/certification

for gas-related projects (preferred/required). Minimum 3-5 years of experience in gas system design, installation, and maintenance. Strong knowledge of gas network design, pipeline layouts, and safety codes. Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software (preferred). UAE driving license (advantage).
