A private family is seeking an experienced and reliable Gardener to maintain and enhance the outdoor areas of a private residence. The role involves daily care of plants, lawns, trees, and landscaped areas, ensuring the garden remains healthy, well-maintained, and visually appealing at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain gardens, lawns, plants, trees, and landscaped areas of the private residence.
Perform regular watering, pruning, trimming, mowing, fertilizing, and pest control.
Plant and nurture flowers, shrubs, trees, and seasonal plants as required.
Ensure proper care of irrigation systems and report any maintenance issues.
Keep garden tools, equipment, and storage areas clean and in good condition.
Remove weeds, dry leaves, and garden waste regularly.
Support basic outdoor cleaning tasks related to garden areas (paths, patios, outdoor furniture).
Identify plant diseases or pests and recommend appropriate treatment.
Coordinate with household staff or management when required for garden-related works.
Follow family guidelines regarding privacy, safety, and work standards.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Gardener for a private villa, estate, or landscaped property.
Knowledge of plants, trees, lawn care, irrigation systems, and basic landscaping.
Physically fit and able to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions.
Trustworthy, discreet, and respectful of privacy.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Basic communication skills in English or Arabic (advantage).
Prior experience working with private families or VIP households is preferred.
Willing to work in Abu Dhabi.
