We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Gardener to maintain and beautify our landscaped areas. The ideal candidate will have a passion for plants and outdoor work, as well as experience with common gardening tools and techniques.
Key Responsibilities
Plant flowers, shrubs, trees, and other greenery.
Water, fertilize, and prune plants to ensure healthy growth.
Mow lawns, edge pathways, trim hedges, and maintain garden beds.
Identify and treat plant diseases or pest infestations; apply pesticides or herbicides as needed (safely).
Operate and maintain gardening tools and light machinery (e.g., mowers, trimmers).
Perform general clean-up: remove debris, fallen leaves, litter.
Assist with irrigation tasks, including maintaining sprinklers or watering systems.
Recommend plant types and garden design improvements to management.
Follow health and safety guidelines when handling chemicals or equipment.
Qualifications & Skills
Previous experience in gardening, landscaping, or grounds maintenance preferred.
Knowledge of different plant species, soil types, and seasonal care.
Ability to use hand tools and gardening machinery safely.
Good physical stamina: able to bend, lift (e.g., up to 50 lbs.), kneel, and work in various weather conditions.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to address plant health issues.
Basic communication and interpersonal skills, especially if working in a team.
