. The candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical and electronic systems in vehicles, while assisting the service team with advanced fault detection and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
Handle all automotive electrical repair and maintenance work
Diagnose and repair electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, batteries, starters, alternators, and sensors
Support car diagnostics using scan tools and diagnostic equipment
Identify and resolve ECU, ABS, airbag, and sensor-related issues
Perform installation and repair of electrical accessories (power windows, central locking, infotainment systems, alarms, etc.)
Read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals
Coordinate with mechanical technicians to resolve combined electrical/mechanical issues
Maintain proper records of diagnostics, repairs, and parts used
Ensure compliance with safety and workshop standards
Required Qualifications & Skills
ITI / Diploma in Automobile Electrical or relevant technical qualification
Proven experience as a garage or automotive electrician
Hands-on experience with vehicle diagnostic tools and scanners
Strong knowledge of automotive electrical and electronic systems
Ability to troubleshoot faults independently
Good communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Skills
Experience working with modern vehicles and ECU-based systems
Knowledge of hybrid or electric vehicle systems (added advantage)
Ability to train or guide junior technicians
