1 Job Details Job Title Gaming Relations Specialist Department Gaming & Digital Development Section AD Gaming Operations Unit Gaming Relations Direct Manager Gaming Relations Unit Head Direct Reports NA 2 Role Purpose Provide required support to contribute in ensuring the development of a vibrant local ecosystem by supporting gaming companies in their onboarding and company setup at AD Gaming, in addition to bringing international tournaments to Abu Dhabi, organizing and promoting events and workshops, as well as developing new and diverse opportunities in the gaming sector. The Specialist supports in the creation and development of the Gaming ecosystem in Abu Dhabi by delivering excellent work throughout the Gaming engagement with partners - including the onboarding, subsidy processing, and activation. 3 Key Responsibilities

Growth of Gaming Industry in Abu Dhabi Assist in the creation and development of the Gaming ecosystem in Abu Dhabi by supporting the Unit Head in the execution of the overarching Gaming sponsorship strategy set by Senior Management for companies / teams / tournaments. Work through applications for sponsorships in the Gaming space in detail and give a regular status update to the Unit Head on the progress of the applications, as well as escalate issues should they arise. Actively execute the Gaming subsidy program for game developers / publishers and in line with strategic plan defined by Senior Management, comparing performance against predefined KPIs and targets. Gaming Relations & Partnerships Engage with prospective/existing partners and ensure proper communication of the requirements, collecting all necessary information and review and assess the completeness of the subsidy application pack. Support partners in reviewing of budgets and business plans and other supervise on the creation of all other documentation needed. Assist partners on their daily inquiries and support them in case they face any challenges during their onboarding process or daily operation related to AD Gaming scope. Participate in actively promoting the ADGaming brand and content to drive the industry forward in Abu Dhabi. Ensure correct submission of Subsidy Form and administer the Gaming subsidy program for game developers/publishers and in line with strategic plan defined by Senior Management, ensuring proper requirements are met and KPIs/targets achieved throughout, Support the unit to effectively promote Abu Dhabi as the Gaming Hub of the Arab World to prospective gaming companies, looking to move to the Emirate thereby generating FDI. Build good relationships with the Gaming partners. Look to create opportunities for regional talent in the industry. Support in managing operations of the Gaming Hub, participating to oversee the Utilization of the Unity Services delivered into gaming Hub companies. Coordinate the Unity Centre of Excellence and Unity Partnership across Gaming hub events, providing support on quarterly hackathons & workshops (e.g. Developer Days) Request partners' information and milestones and share with Unit Head for relevant promotion initiatives showcasing the work from partners and other achievements that will bring awareness and impact positively on the Gaming landscape Maintain the subsidy financial forecast and measure against the KPI's of jobs generated and companies incorporated. Conduct partners annual review by gathering the necessary documents from partners and compare and analyze them based on their KPIs and agreement. Shared Activity Carry out any other duties and responsibilities related to the role at the request of the direct manager. Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner. Demonstrate compliance to organization's values and ethics at all times to support the establishment of a value drive culture within the organization. Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction. Take an active role in the EHS initiative and adhere to the DCT Occupational Safety and Health policy, regulations, and laws, and provide help to the Corporate EHS in executing the OSHMS. Report any incidents, near misses, occupational illnesses, unsafe practices, and conditions immediately to the concerned person and participate in the investigation of OSH incidents, as required. 4 Communication and Business Relationships Internal DCT Relevant Sectors / Departments External Gaming Hardware & Software Developers, Publishers, Streaming Platforms, Game Content Creators Gaming Partners Gaming Events & Tournaments Organizers Any Other Relevant Party 5 Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or a related field (or equivalent work experience). 6 Experience At least 3 - 5 years of experience in gaming and esports or in Operations and Client Relationship Management. Some exposure to the gaming, entertainment or business industry and the management of partners. Some experience in event management and organization preferred. Experience in negotiating and managing partnerships. 7 Skills Full professional English proficiency both in speaking and writing. Skilled in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word and Excel). Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and information. Proficiency in documenting business requirements using industry-standard techniques and tools. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders/vendors and cross-functional team members. Self-motivated with a proven ability to complete work in a timely manner. Excellent written and verbal communication skill - including appropriate stakeholder alignment.
