Job Opportunity - Game Developer (Unity)
Location: UAE and India
Work Mode: Hybrid DIFX is the world's first fully insured cross-asset trading platform. This platform was created as a blockchain-based cryptocurrency exchange to bring significant and lasting change to financial markets. This ecosystem offers an all-in-one solution for Digital Currency; made to trade, invest, and stake. We have license from over 16 countries and currently holds 75 employees. Responsibilities:
Liaising with game designers and developers in setting up technical resources
Researching and developing the suite of software and platforms that will be sed to support the game
Ensuring the game design is fully realized and performs to maximum capacity
Creating procedures and production document
Working to tight schedules and keep to budget
Producing prototypes in the early stages of production
Conducting quality assurance tests and respond to feedback
Collaborating with all departments to smooth over technical issues, problem solve and create solutions during the production pipeline process
Responding to the technical needs of all department
Working in teams towards common goals
Providing ongoing tech support after the game has been launched, work on upgrades to the game.
Game development from conception to release of browser-based games, mobile (iOS & Android) games and other platforms (Windows)
Write super-clean, testable, and well documented code in C#
Work within Unity to build robust game systems
Implement systems for the games based on design specifications
Implement, debug and refine core game play features.
Collaborate effectively with a small, high-energy team of illustrators, designers, and programmers.
Work with other developers to devise customized solutions to difficult problems
Be an integral part of a team focused on excellence.
To identify future trends in game technology and other related areas and use these trends to advantage
Rest API implementation inside unity Requirements:
Good knowledge with object-oriented programming concepts.
Excellent knowledge in C#.
Good understanding in 3D math.
Excellent knowledge of Unity, including experience with scripting, textures, animation, GUI styles and user session management.
Knowledge of Unity GUI, asset bundles, materials/shaders.
Solid understanding of Data Oriented Design and game-programming design patterns.
Should have experience in Native plugin development.
Should have experience of working with third party plugins (eg: Flurry, Admob, Vungle, Tapjoy, Game Center, etc...).
Should possess excellent debugging skills.
Interest and experience in most aspects of game technology development, such as 3D, UI/UX, audio/video, networking, AI, animation, gameplay, physics, and tools.
A thorough, up-to-date, and constantly evolving understanding of Unity3D's systems.
Interest in the latest updates to the Unity3D engine, including ECS. Nice to have:
Experience on Simulation will be plus.
Augmented Reality knowledge.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills.
Ability to collaborate with other developers, designers and artists.
A passion for learning new technologies.
Knowledge of lighting including real time and baked light is a plus
Knowledge of physics and particle system is a plus
Knowledge of multiplayer game is a plus
Knowledge of game design patterns is a plus
