In line with their commitment to excellence, they are seeking to recruit a highly skilled Fund Accounting professional to join their exceptional team.

The Role

• Execute daily, monthly, and quarterly accounting tasks for designated funds, encompassing the management of corporate accounts, budgeting, fund expenses, accruals, cash reconciliations, and cash forecasts.
• Ensure precise and prompt recording of all investment transactions, including purchases, sales, and income distributions.
• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and schedules for assigned funds, adhering to the accounting standards and regulatory guidelines of DFSA.
• Foster collaboration with internal teams, back office, operations, and compliance to ensure accurate and timely completion of deliverables.
• Support the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors.
• Conduct comprehensive analysis of fund performance, providing valuable insights to senior management.
• Monitor and reconcile discrepancies in fund valuations, pricing, and cash positions.
• Remain up to date with industry best practices, accounting regulations, and market trends relevant to investment funds.

The Candidate

• Holds a Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting/Finance or a related field.
• Possesses CPA designations.
• Brings a minimum of 5 years\' experience in fund accounting, preferably within an investment management firm or financial institution.
• Demonstrates extensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards (FATCA), and regulatory requirements (DFSA) relevant to investment funds.
• Exhibits strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration across teams and the ability to articulate complex financial information to stakeholders

Salary and Benefits

AED 30,000 per month, plus company benefits
