Pioneer Engineering Consultancy is pleased to announce exciting new career opportunities to join our team in the United Arab Emirates. We are currently seeking qualified and experienced Functional Programming Specialist to join our team
Responsibilities
Align space programs with MOH standards
and local health?authority guidelines; maintain compliance from IFC ? shop drawings ? as-built. Develop and maintain theclinical brief, area program, room lists
, andadjacency/flow diagrams
; issue updates after user reviews. Leaduser-group meetings
and translate clinical workflows intoRoom Data Sheets (RDS)
with environmental/MEP/IT requirements. ReviewRFIs, submittals, and shop drawings
for functional compliance (flows, clearances, IPC, accessibility, wayfinding). Coordinate withMEP, medical equipment, BIM, and IT
to ensure utilities (UPS/IPS, gases, HVAC/pressures, data) match functional needs. Supportmock-ups and commissioning readiness
; validate rooms against the functional brief and sign off acceptance tests.Requirements
B.Arch/M.Arch
(or clinical/health planning degree) with4-7+ years
on hospital projects, including construction-phase coordination. Proven delivery ofarea programs, adjacency matrices, room lists, RDS
, and minutes/action logs from user groups. Working knowledge ofMOH standards
and international benchmarks (FGI/HTM/HBN
),NFPA 99/101
, andIPC
(clean/dirty flows, pressure regimes). Proficient inRevit (read/markup)
and common CDE tools (ACC/BIM 360, Navisworks
); strong Excel and diagramming (Visio/Miro/Bluebeam). Experience coordinatingMEP + medical equipment + IT
interfaces (clearances, shielding, utilities, EMR/PACS impacts). Clear written/verbal communication; capable of concise compliance notes,change control
impact assessments, and stakeholder management.Job Type: Full-time
