Job Description

A lovely family in downtown Dubai is seeking a live-in nanny for their 1-year-old daughter to start March 18th. The schedule is to be determined but will be a six-day week, with flexibility sometimes needed. A very comfortable separate apartment is provided with a private bedroom and bathroom, in the same building, that the nanny would share with the other female employees.

Job responsibilities include the care and engagement of their daughter. This includes, but is not limited to, engaging her in developmentally appropriate play and activities, educating the parents and making suggestions about toys and classes to further her development, and light housekeeping related to the child. The family has a full-time housekeeper as well as a cook, so preparing meals will not always be required, but guidance on nutrition and meals will be appreciated. They also have another nanny (who will work under the new nanny to be hired) who works the overnight shift and sleeps in the room with the baby. Both parents are very involved as mum is a housewife, and dad works remotely from home, so you must be comfortable with this dynamic. The ideal candidate would ideally be Norland trained, but the family is open to considering candidates without that qualification if they have similar training and education. The family requires a nanny who is travel-ready, as they travel regularly throughout the year, up to 5 weeks at a time. They should be professional, well-versed in infant and toddler development, and experienced in a similar live-in role.

The candidate should be flexible, proactive, and a team-player,. It would be a bonus if they are bilingual in either French or Spanish.

The nanny will be provided 30 days annual vacation. A competitive annual salary will be provided for the hired candidate.
