AEI is seeking a dedicated and versatile
English Teacher
to join our dynamic academic team. In addition to delivering engaging and effective English language instruction, the successful candidate will support
academic administration and student enrollment initiatives
, contributing to the institute's overall growth and operational efficiency.
This role is ideal for an educator who is confident in the classroom, organized in administrative work, and comfortable engaging with students and parents regarding programs and enrollment.
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching & Academic Delivery
Plan and deliver high-quality English language lessons across multiple programs (IELTS, GED, IGCSE, TOEFL, SAT, Business English, General English, etc.)
Facilitate interactive, learner-centered instruction using innovative teaching strategies and educational technology
Prepare students for English proficiency exams and academic progression, adapting materials to learner needs
Assess student performance and provide timely, clear, and constructive feedback
Monitor, document, and report student progress regularly
Administrative & Academic Support
Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, assessments, and progress reports
Coordinate with academic and operations teams regarding schedules, class delivery, and student concerns
Support curriculum updates, lesson planning standardization, and quality assurance processes
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and internal reviews
Assist with learning management systems and online or blended learning delivery
Sales & Student Engagement
Support student onboarding, placement assessments, and orientation activities
Communicate effectively with prospective students and parents regarding course offerings and learning pathways
Assist the admissions or sales team by explaining programs, schedules, and outcomes when required
Encourage student retention through engagement, follow-ups, and academic support
Contribute to promotional events, open days, and academic consultations as needed
Coordinate with academic and operations teams regarding schedules, class delivery, and student concerns
Support curriculum updates, lesson planning standardization, and quality assurance processes
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and internal reviews
Assist with learning management systems and online or blended learning delivery
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field
Recognized English language teaching certification (TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or equivalent; preferred but not required)
Minimum 2 years of English teaching experience
Familiarity with international exams such as IELTS, GED, IGCSE, TOEFL, or SAT
Strong command of the English language (native or near-native fluency)
Experience with adult learners and multicultural classroom settings
Proficiency in using learning management systems and educational technology
Strong organizational and communication skills
Proficiency in educational technology, learning management systems, and basic administrative tools
Willingness to contribute to administrative and student recruitment efforts
