Full-Stack Developer
Department – Web Development
Location: Newcastle
Duration: Permanent
Job Summary
The role, with a hybrid working model, is based in the North East.
Responsibilities:
- The design, development and implementation of mobile applications, web environments and front-end applications working closely with UX/UI Designers’ mock-ups, Consultants and Clients.
- The full range of daily development functions including design, software development, code review, build, automated testing and deployment to ensure the timely and successful delivery of high-standard software to meet market opportunities in terms of functionality, performance, security and UX.
- Working with colleagues to optimize user experience and ensure that frontend design is consistent with the whole solution architecture.
- Contributing to effective and timely release management, integration and support of previously built and new developments including building reusable modules, components and libraries.
- Being an active contributor to innovative thinking and continuous improvement.
Skills Required:
- Over 2 years Full-Stack experience developing innovative, scalable, highly responsive software applications in business-critical commercial environments.
- A solid understanding of high-quality software design principles with demonstrable attention to detail, as well as a proven ability to assimilate multiple system requirements.
- Extensive full-stack JavaScript, NodeJS and Express development experience.
- Proven experience with JS frameworks e.g. Angular and Bootstrap.
- Experience with databases such as MongoDB, Data Visualisation and/or ETLs.
- Experience of Web-based and RESTful APIs as well asHTML5, CSS3and TypeScript
