Key Responsibilities:

Successful candidates are expected to:


Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in their area of specialization Develop and maintain an active, externally funded research program Publish in high-impact, peer-reviewed international journals Supervise undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students Contribute to curriculum development and academic program growth Participate in interdisciplinary research initiatives and industry collaboration Contribute to innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem development and support at Zewail City Provide academic and institutional service at the department, college, and university levels

Qualifications:

A PhD in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace Engineering from a recognized highly reputable institution Strong academic background and research potential aligned with the rank applied for. Demonstrated ability to teach effectively in English A record of innovation in engineering education, including modern pedagogical approaches. A proven record of high-quality research publications, graduate supervision, and academic leadership A proven record in national/international grants application and awarding A track record in innovation-related activities and entrepreneurship support Strong connections with industry and the ability to enhance technology transfer and entrepreneurship Familiarity with national and international accreditation processes (ABET or equivalent). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Reports to the Dean of School of Engineering.
