Job Description

Ottobay is an automobile classified advertising startup based in the UAE. We specialize in new and used vehicle sales, including cars sold by individual sellers and trade dealers. We are looking for a bright, successful and determined individual who has the experience to work without any supervision and take the company's vision forward. We are searching for an experienced full-stack developer to design and manage our whole web infrastructure. Candidates must have at least two years of recent experience with all the competencies listed below. Our project comprises creating a user interface, building an API, linking the two, and configuring our server architecture. This contains everything related to database and architectural design. Responsibilities:

• Design and implementation of the overall web architecture
• "Pixel-perfect" implementation of user interface
• Design and deployment of our database
• Ensuring the entire stack is designed and built for speed and scalability
• Design and construction of our REST API
• Integrating our front-end UI with the constructed API
• Design and implementation of continuous integration and deployment
• Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic
• Building reusable code and components for future use
• Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability
• Implementation of security and data protection
• Design and implementation of data storage solutions

Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

• Firm grasp of the JavaScript & TypeScript language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax.
• Solid experience in ReactJS, NodeJS, MySQL, Sequelize and AWS is essential.
• Knowledge of functional and Object Oriented programming
• Ability to write well-documented, clean Javascript code.
• Rock solid at working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts
• Understanding of REST APIs, SOAP APIs, the document request model, and offline storage
• Experience with Automated Testing.
• Good problem-solving skill
• Attention to detail
