What Does a Full Stack .NET Developer Do?
A Full Stack .NET Developer is responsible for designing and developing scalable microservices and applications using modern Microsoft technologies. This includes building robust APIs, integrating frontend components, ensuring performance, and deploying services in cloud or containerized environments.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Design and build high-performance microservices and web applications using .NET Core and C#
- Develop REST APIs using ASP.NET Web API, WCF, MVC, and Entity Framework
- Maintain and support web, microservices, and windows-based applications
- Build dynamic UIs using AngularJS and Angular, with strong JavaScript and jQuery integration
- Work with relational databases like SQL Server or Oracle
- Develop cloud-ready solutions using Docker, Kubernetes, and platforms like AWS or Azure
- Use tools like Visual Studio, Postman, SoapUI, and Git for daily development tasks
- Follow TDD practices and maintain clean, testable code
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or Git/TFS
- Participate in Agile development cycles and cross-functional teams
What Skills Are Needed for a .NET Full Stack Role in Dubai?
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in full stack .NET development
- Experience in banking or financial services projects is a plus
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in .NET Core, ASP.NET, MVC, WCF, Web API, ADO.NET, Entity Framework
- Frontend experience with AngularJS, Angular, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Experience with SQL Server or Oracle database design and development
