Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Web Application Development

Design, develop, and maintain scalable back-end systems for web applications.

Collaborate in building high-performance, responsive web apps using modern frameworks such as Yii2 and React.

2. Server Infrastructure Management

Deploy and manage applications on Linux (Ubuntu) environments.

Troubleshoot server-related issues to ensure optimal uptime and system performance.

3. Database Architecture & Administration

Design and manage large-scale, robust relational databases (primarily MySQL).

Monitor, optimize, and ensure database performance, accuracy, integrity, and security.

4. API Development & Integration

Build, integrate, and maintain secure and scalable RESTful APIs, particularly for game-related functionalities.

Ensure seamless communication between internal systems and third-party services.

5. Performance Optimization & Security

Optimize web application performance through caching, clean code, and best practices.

Implement modern web security measures including HTTPS, authentication protocols, and data protection practices.

6. Team Leadership & Collaboration

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, QA, and product in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior developers to support team growth and development.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in back-end or full-stack web development.

Technical Skills

Front-end: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript

Back-end: PHP, Yii2, jQuery

Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL

Infrastructure: Ubuntu/Linux, AWS

Version Control: Tortoise SVN

Development Methodologies

Solid experience working within Agile/Scrum development cycles.

Proficient in designing scalable architectures, applying secure coding practices, and optimizing system performance.

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Demonstrated leadership with experience mentoring and guiding development teams.
