The role involves mentoring junior developers, maintaining code quality, ensuring performance optimization, and taking ownership of

full-stack development tasks

across both backend and frontend modules.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services for exchange modules using

Node.js

,

Rust

, and

Golang

. Implement

frontend features

and integrate with backend APIs (React/Next.js preferred). Design and manage

OAuth and authentication flows

for secure login, authorization, and user management. Mentor and guide junior developers, conduct

code reviews

, and enforce best coding practices. Optimize backend performance via

code restructuring

, query optimization, and load handling improvements. Manage and optimize

MongoDB

and

PostgreSQL

databases for reliability and performance. Implement containerized environments using

Docker

and orchestrate with

Kubernetes

. Work with

AWS services

(EC2, ECS, S3, RDS, CloudFront, Lambda, etc.) to manage infrastructure and deployment. Ensure platform

security

, encryption, and adherence to engineering best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years of software development experience, with at least 2 years in

crypto exchange

trading platforms

for backend development. Hands-on

. Strong experience with

Fireblocks

or other custody/wallet platform experience is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in
