Front-End Lead/Architect(Digital Tech Firm)
We are looking for an amazing Frontend Lead/Architect for one of our fastest growing digital tech firm client. The Frontend Lead will be reporting to Team Director in Dubai and will be responsible for building his/her own team of Rockstars. Job Location: Dubai, UAE

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Minimum 10+ years of proven technical experience with responsive website development out of which at least 3 years’ experience in team leadership.
- Ability to do client facing work and mentor / grow other team members.
- Effective communication with other team members.
- Active involvement in all projects.
- Business requirements understanding and translating them into technical requirements.
- Experience in handling dedicated team and manage deliverables.
- Experience in the creation of adaptive/responsive layouts and support of mobile devices.
- Good knowledge of HTML5/CSS3, LESS/SASS, and BEM methodology.
- Wide experience in JavaScript (ES6+) and jQuery.
- understanding of MVC and MVVM patterns.
- Experience with version control systems: Git and SVN.
- Experience with front-end tooling (npm-scripts/Webpack/Gulp/Grunt);
- Experience with multi-cultural sites (multi-language solutions);
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Extensive experience in working with React or Vue (Next.js / Nuxt.js, Node.js)
- Gatsby (good to have)
- Good knowledge of current modern frameworks.
- Proficient in writing meaningful tests with at least one front-end testing framework.
- Experience with browser APIs, optimization of Frontend performance and familiarity with browser’s DevTools.
- Experience with RESTful APIs.
- Good understanding of agile and scrum methodologies.
- Understanding of SEO standards and best practices.
- Experience in PWA and specifically Service Worker.
- Experience in benchmarking and optimization.
- Expert knowledge of accessibility guidelines.
- Experience mentoring and coaching junior developers.
- Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript.
