Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with the Product, Design/UX, Back-End, QA, and Data teams, to build and implement web applications.
- Build responsive interfaces using Angular, connecting to our node.js and PostgreSQL back-end.
- Take lead on projects and teams, as needed, and help new team members to understand the flows.
- Review designs done by the Product team and discuss with the Back-End team to ensure all API\xe2\x80\x99s are in place.
- Design, develop, deploy and support new user-facing applications with a focus on a dynamic and intuitive user experience.
- Conduct code review of other engineers\xe2\x80\x99 frontend code.
- Create automated tests of front-end code to keep the system reliable and to speed deployment.
- Maintain existing platforms and make sure they are stable for day-to-day use, ensuring cross-browser compatibility.
- Landing Page development following Product Specs and implementing SEO and SSR/Pre-rendering Best Practices.
- Assist with Localization Pipeline (RTL, Corpus Extraction, Translations, Invalidation, Multilingual Deployment).
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Develop ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends.
- Ensure high quality graphic standards and brand consistency.
- Engage in conversations with Operations and Customer Support teams to understand the usage and issues faced by users.
- Periodically examine competitors\' platforms to compare our UI/UX and understand what we have over others and what could be improved.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or Masters in Computer Science, Computer Engineering (related field) or equivalent work experience.
- Experience working with Angular.
- Experience with node,js and PostgreSQL is a plus.
- Experience with mobile (iOS/Android) development is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Exceptional problem solving and ability to work independently
- Continuous desire to learn new things.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills.
- Ability to own a product/feature from scratch.
- Awareness of cross-browser compatibility issues and client-side performance considerations
- Solid understanding of version control tools like Git
