JOB OVERVIEW
We are looking for an experienced Front-end Developer (Mobile App) to join our development team. In this role you will work closely with our development and product team to develop, modify our web-based application and user interfaces across all channels. We want someone who is motivated by emerging technologies and has a passion to drive digital transformation. A real desire to work in a collaborative and fast-paced retail environment is essential.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build and maintain both web and mobile applications for our organization.
• Collaborate with the rest of the team to ensure applications align with the organizations goals, as well as customer needs.
• Oversee the performance of applications to ensure theyre always running properly.
• Improve our overall application development process and continuously find ways to advance our app.
• You should be able to deliver best-in-class user interfaces for our web-based application.
• Think proactively about user journeys
• Developing high quality, testable and performance software using agile practices.
• Driving best technology and software development practices in the team with passion and enthusiasm.
• Assisting analysts and business stakeholders in shaping, estimating, and planning new requirements
• Participating in regular showcases of new work to the product owners and business stakeholders
• Striving for continuous improvement within the team.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors or masters degree in computer science or equivalent.

• 5+ years of solid experience in Frontend.

• 2 + years Experience in Mobile App Development (iOS & Android).

• Excellent communication and written skills for coordinating across teams.

• A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.

• Excellent organisation and time management skills.

• Knowledge of the security aspect of web applications is important.

• Knowledge of the main web standards and on-page optimisation is important.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Proven experience working in building mobile Apps.

• Required web development skills, for example., HTML 5, CSS 3, JavaScript.

• Good knowledge of hybrid mobile App Development.

• Experience in publishing Apps in iOS Apple Store and Android Playstore.
