What you\'ll do

You\'ll love what you do and take pride in delighting our guests:
  • You will greatly contribute to the processes and activities that create and promote the Dorchester Collection culture, values and bring the Company Philosophy \xe2\x80\x9cWe Care\xe2\x80\x9d to life ensuring our employees and guests receive nothing but the best experience.
  • You will create real connections and meaningful relationships by utilizing collective intelligence from all sources.
  • You will coach and train the front office agents to make sure they deliver the best customer experience at all times.
  • Our Front Office Supervisors are responsible for acting as a hotel ambassador during their day. This will include showing guest\'s round during their check in process and conducting daily duties in an efficient and timely manner, such as upselling and checking that reservations instructions are being followed, all to ensure our guests receives nothing but the best experience.
  • Sometimes our guests have special requests involving special occasions. Most of these requests are fulfilled by our Reception Team.
  • Our values of Passion, Personality, Respect, Working Together and Creativity guide us each and every day. As a Front Office Supervisor you\'ll have the opportunity to bring these to life and continue to create our legacy.
  • Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. Our Front Office Supervisor must communicate with other departments and extended hotel team in order to ensure the alignment remains.

What you\'ll bring
  • You\'ll bring your unique personality and passion to the role and the team.
  • You have a talent and strategic agility effectively managing short and long term business goals and ability to anticipate, identify and translate into innovative business solutions.
  • You are a strong conceptual thinker, including ideation, concept creation and execution. You have intense curiosity with the ability to question conventional wisdom. You are inquisitive, with attention to detail to execute on the research and clues. You can demonstrate resourcefulness & business acumen.
  • You have the ability to direct the creative process at every stage of production, from concepts to execution. You have the ability to communicate visually, requiring outstanding digital visualization skills (i.e. Mac, Power Point, design). You have an operational knowledge of Guest Relations, Front Office & In Room dining teams. You have a desired knowledge of the purchasing processes.
  • You will have strong presentation skills, ability to present financial impact of recommendations made and sell ideas persuasively, influence without direct authority showing a high level of emotional intelligence to adapt to various cultural settings and situations.
  • Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. You have great communication skills with a strong customer service and business ethic.
  • English is the primary language used in our hotel. You can comfortably communicate in this language.
