Role Summary
The Front Office Supervisor manages Sofitel Club guest services, ensuring smooth front office operations, accurate system handling, effective coordination with butlers and internal teams, and consistent delivery of high-quality, personalized service that leaves guests with a positive and lasting impression.
Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests at all times in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner
  • Register, check in, and check out Sofitel Club guests in line with established procedures
  • Accurately manage room changes, guest profiles, and data entry within the hotel system
  • Coordinate closely with butlers to escort guests and follow up on requests and preferences
  • Maintain cashier float and ensure accurate daily cash and financial reporting
  • Handle foreign exchange transactions, travelers' checks, and guest cashiering activities
  • Stay updated on accounting policies, procedures, and special promotional programs
  • Manage guest inquiries, complaints, and requests, escalating complex matters when required
  • Promote Sofitel loyalty programs and support onward bookings to other Sofitel properties
  • Ensure guests depart with a positive impression of service and hospitality
  • Perform audit balances and prepare required reports in an organized and timely manner
  • Maintain knowledge of standard reservation procedures and front office systems
  • Provide basic secretarial services for guests such as faxing, copying, scanning, and posting
  • Ensure reception and lounge areas are clean, organized, and presentable at all times
  • Support lounge operations including breakfast, high tea, and cocktail hour setups
  • Forecast weekly food and beverage stock requirements for the lounge
  • Adhere to health, safety, and occupational standards and hotel policies
Ideal Profile
  • Post-secondary education or diploma in Tourism or Hotel Management
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in guest relations, front office, or customer service roles
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle cashiering, guest service recovery, and multitasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Service-oriented mindset with attention to detail and professionalism
