Role Description



The Front Office Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing seamless front-of-house operations within a dynamic student accommodation environment. This role ensures a safe, efficient, and student-centered living experience by supervising the Resident Support Team and coordinating closely with multiple departments to uphold service excellence, brand standards, and operational compliance. The role demands a deep understanding of student needs, proactive issue resolution, and exceptional communication. Key responsibilities include ensuring cleanliness and maintenance standards, managing occupancy systems and budgets, and training a motivated, service-oriented front office team. The Front Office Manager also plays a critical role in crisis response, student welfare support, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and community standards in alignment with the values of hospitality, inclusivity, and community.

Duties and Responsibilities: (Full duties and Responsibility in detail to be discussed in interview)



Operational Management Vendor and Contract Management Resident, Community , Event and Leasing Support Health, Safety and Crisis Response Training and Development Asset Management Sustainability Practices Technology and Reporting Service Quality and Feedback Management General duties as required

Qualification, Education, and Minimum Experience:



University Degree or equivalent

Minimum 5 years' experience in similar role

Must be fully competent in business software applications

Excellent communication and organisation skills, with

high degree of fluency in spoken and written English, with a pleasant telephone manner

Able to priorities work and produce a high volume of accuracy under pressure


People Management:



Leading, mentoring, and developing the team, including team conflict management Set Key Result Areas (KRA's) for direct reports and conduct performance appraisals Maintains the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and attitude towards all

Functional Knowledge, Skills, and Capabilities:



Excellent organisational skills in conjunction with resilience and tenacity Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills Solid team worker to engage with other departments and work with other teams in a collaborative and constructive way to ensure successful delivery Excellent people skills to engage with members and new potential clients Have a can-do attitude and be willing to get hands dirty Advanced communication skills (including verbal, written, negotiation and listening) Proven examples of creativity and agility to work in a fast pace and innovative environment accompanied with commercial acumen
