Job Description
To assess grid related and other electrical, technical and techno-economic issues of Masdar's Clean Energy projects, including agreeing project specifications; budgets and timescales with contractors clients or other stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
Key responsibilities include:
- Covering electrical aspects of Masdar Clean Energy projects and assets.
- Conduct the preliminary and concept electrical HV interfacing design work such as substations, overhead transmission lines etc., including the preparation of single line diagrams.
- Perform design work on projects during development phase.
- Prepare electrical related chapters in Request for Proposal (RfP) and tender documents.
- Evaluate RfP bid regarding electrical aspects.
- Participate and support EPC contracts and Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) evaluation and negotiations regarding Electrical aspects.
- Support in coordination with consultants.
- Comply with information security policies, procedures and requirements at all times.
Skills
Required Skills:
- 0-2 years work experience in power plant engineering.
- Good knowledge of the renewable energy sector and specifically power plants.
