Freight Forwarder
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Freight Forwarder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with air and sea freight operations, customs clearance, and be proficient in using DHL and other major shipping portals. Strong coordination skills and the ability to work well in a team environment are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage air and sea freight shipments from origin to destination
Handle customs clearance procedures and documentation accurately
Operate DHL and other major freight/courier platforms for booking and tracking
Communicate with carriers, agents, and clients to ensure smooth operations
Work closely with internal departments to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction
Maintain shipment records and ensure compliance with all logistics requirements
Requirements:
2-3 years of proven experience in freight forwarding (air/sea)
Strong knowledge of customs clearance procedures in the UAE
Familiarity with DHL and other courier/shipping platforms
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
