About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive

Logistics Freight Coordinator

to manage and coordinate end-to-end freight operations. The ideal candidate will ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant movement of goods while maintaining strong relationships with carriers, vendors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate domestic and international shipments (air, sea, and road) Prepare and verify shipping documents (BL, AWB, invoices, packing lists, customs paperwork) Track shipments and proactively resolve delays or issues Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and warehouses Ensure compliance with customs, trade, and company regulations Negotiate rates and optimize transportation costs where possible Maintain accurate shipment records and update internal systems Provide timely shipment status updates to stakeholders

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field (preferred) 2-4 years of experience in freight coordination or logistics operations Strong understanding of Incoterms, shipping documentation, and customs processes Excellent communication and organizational skills Proficiency in MS Office and logistics/ERP systems Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines

Preferred Skills

Experience with international freight forwarding Knowledge of customs clearance procedures Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills Multilingual skills are a plus
