Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Freelance English-to-Arabic Translator

to accurately translate a variety of written materials from English into Arabic. The ideal candidate will possess strong linguistic ability, cultural awareness, and the capacity to maintain the tone, meaning, and context of the original content while ensuring clarity and natural flow in Arabic.

Key Responsibilities

Translate written documents, articles, marketing materials, and other content from

English to Arabic

with high accuracy and cultural sensitivity. Ensure the translated text conveys the original meaning, style, and intent. Review and proofread translations to maintain consistency and quality. Adapt and localize content for Arabic-speaking audiences when required. Manage multiple translation projects while meeting deadlines. Communicate with the project manager or client for clarifications or revisions. Maintain confidentiality of all client materials.

Requirements

Proven experience as a

translator

, preferably in English-Arabic translation. Excellent command of both

English and Modern Standard Arabic (MSA)

. Strong grammar, editing, and proofreading skills. Familiarity with CAT (Computer-Assisted Translation) tools is an advantage (e.g., SDL Trados, MemoQ). Bachelor's degree in

Translation, Linguistics, Arabic Language, English, or related field

preferred. Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of regional Arabic dialects. Experience translating in specific domains (legal, marketing, technical, financial, etc.). Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality work under minimal supervision.
